Runners stopped by Fleet Feet Thursday to learn more about the Team in Training program. They will learn how to run long distances, while also raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
"It is a great program because runners of all types and all ability can participate. Whether you are a seasoned runner or you have been sitting on the couch all summer long waiting to do something more. So, Team in Training makes it available for people to be successful," said Jean Doliber, campaign manager.
For the very first time, Team in Training is teaming up with the Critz Tybee Run Fest, which takes place Feb. 1 and 2. There will be a lot of races to choose from and it will help raise money for blood cancers. For more information, visit?http://www.teamintraining.org/.
