(AP) ? Katherine Jackson is apparently back home, reuniting with Michael Jackson's children after a judge temporarily took away her guardianship because of her dayslong absence from them.

Paris Jackson tweeted early Thursday morning: "grandma's here! (hash)thankyougod." Katherine Jackson's son Marlon also posted a note on Twitter saying his mother had returned, adding she looked and sounded great.

On Wednesday, a judge removed Katherine Jackson as guardian temporarily and named her grandson Tito Joe "TJ" Jackson as temporary caretaker of the late legend's three minor children amid a bitter family dispute over Michael Jackson's estate.

Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff issued the ruling because Katherine Jackson was in Arizona and hadn't spoken with the children in several days. TJ Jackson now has the ability to control the hilltop home where the children live and to take on other supervision duties.

Katherine Jackson told ABC News that the court ruling was "based on a bunch of lies."

"I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home to see about that, also," she said reading from a prepared statement.

She denied the suggestion made in court and in court filings to support TJ Jackson's appointment that she was being held against her will.

"I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will," she said while her children Randy, Janet and Rebbie were seated next to her. "It's very stupid for people to think that."

But on Thursday, Michael Jackson's son Prince posted a photo of what he said was a group text message involving Rebbie and Janet in which he demanded contact with his grandmother and Janet allegedly responded: "Please don't let them."

"As long as I can remember my dad repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways," Prince Michael tweeted. "Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realize how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I'm really angry and hurt."

Beckloff said there was no evidence that Katherine Jackson had done anything wrong, but instead it appeared she was being prevented from fulfilling her role as guardian through the "intentional acts of third parties." He didn't elaborate but made the decision after reading court filings in which TJ Jackson expressed concern that Katherine Jackson was being prevented from returning.

He cited a Monday incident in which Janet, Randy and Jermaine Jackson arrived at the children's home and told them they could speak with their grandmother but had to leave with them.

"This was odd and disturbing to me and (the children) and heightened our concern that our grandmother was being prohibited from returning home," TJ Jackson wrote in a sworn statement. The incident turned into a confrontation between two male adults at the house and sheriff's officials say it remains an ongoing battery investigation.

Beckloff listened as attorneys described Katherine Jackson's demeanor as unusual on phone calls placed to the children hours before the hearing.

TJ Jackson's attorney Charles Shultz also revealed in court filings that the children were forced to miss school Wednesday because of concerns about their security.

Beckloff ruled the Jackson children could not leave California without court approval.

Katherine Jackson's attorney Perry Sanders Jr. said after the hearing that he spoke with his client as she was driving back to Los Angeles from Tucson, Ariz., where she had been since July 15.

"She sounded absolutely fine, lucid and her normal self," he said.

Sanders plans to ask the court to reinstate Katherine Jackson as guardian of the children when she is back in Los Angeles. He was looking forward to meeting with her in person on Thursday.

The public battle was revealed early Sunday after a relative reported Katherine Jackson missing, but she was later located safely with other family members in Arizona.

Jermaine Jackson has said his mother was following doctor's orders to cut off communications with the children, who range in age from 10 to 15. He didn't provide further details.

In addition to concerns about the safety of Jackson's children, some of Michael Jackson's siblings have recently called on the executors of his estate to resign.

Randy Jackson appeared Tuesday on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show PoliticsNation and said he believes his brother's will is a fake and that the executors have engaged in criminal activity.

The estate, which recently reported it saw $475 million in gross earnings since Jackson's death in June 2009, has denied wrongdoing and called the accusations "false and defamatory."

Beckloff, who also oversees financial issues affecting Jackson's estate, was initially reluctant to appoint a temporary guardian but changed his mind after hearing from several attorneys who expressed concern about the family's problems.

He made the ruling after hearing TJ Jackson's description of a "strange" conversation he had with Katherine Jackson on Tuesday evening.

"I've never heard my grandmother talk like that," he said reluctantly. "In every way. The sound in her voice. The pauses."

He said some of her speech sounded slurred and she used words that made him wonder if she was speaking in code.

Her son Marlon echoed those concerns on Twitter, complaining that siblings Janet, Randy and Jermaine were keeping her from him.

The children's guardian ad litem, Margaret Lodise, said she spoke with the children and the two oldest, Prince and Paris, supported the appointment of a temporary guardian. Lodise did not ask the youngest son, 10-year-old Blanket, for his views.

Lodise is responsible for overseeing the children's interests in the estate of their father.

Schultz said TJ Jackson didn't want to replace Katherine Jackson as permanent guardian. Still, the judge noted that TJ Jackson would have to petition to become the permanent guardian within 48 hours and added that such a petition might not be heard if Katherine Jackson re-emerges.

Sanders said he would fight any move to have her permanently replaced.

He said he met with Randy and Janet Jackson in Tucson, Ariz., on Tuesday, but he was not allowed to see his client. He said he still hoped the recent events were a misunderstanding, but he described them as "chaos."

Some Long Island Faculties Students Simply Want To Go To Work ?

All parents have big desires for their children. Fame, fortune, happiness, safety, love, confidence, success, and a very good education- to call a few. Parents of Lengthy Island Schools college students have dreams like these, too. Plenty of these kids are informed as they grow up that faculty is what you do after high school, finish of discussion. After all, most if not all dad and mom would like to see their kids head off to college.

But let?s take a look at the massive picture; not all graduating seniors want to head off to a 2- or 4-yr college. They?re anxious to enter the workforce, earn a paycheck, and are heartily sick of homework. Students attending Lengthy Island Schools signify each objectives ? each school sure and work sure ? but only considered one of these teams is truly getting the education they need to obtain their objectives after high school.

Lengthy Island Schools students are feeling rising strain to attend school or an university. Rigorous programs are becoming the norm, and the stress that goes along with the homework and finding out for these lessons is immense. Long Island Faculties students who are planning on heading off to school pretty much have to take a lot of these classes in an effort to even get accepted in the faculty of their choice. In actual fact, 88% of Long Island Faculties graduates enroll in schools or universities.

However what in regards to the Long Island Faculties vocational students? Their colleges are experiencing such a drastic quantity of cutbacks that they are pressured into turning college students away from the education they desire. Many Lengthy Island Schools districts have to inform their vocational students that they cannot afford to enroll them in BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Providers) job-training courses in the Fall of 2007. This is taking place regardless of New York?s state rules which entitle teenagers entry to vocational programs. In reality, state laws require faculty districts, including those serving Long Island Colleges to supply college students with as much as years of BOCES occupational coaching, free of charge. Therefore, many of those Lengthy Island Schools college students are blocked from receiving the coaching they need to start their chosen profession.

Lengthy Island Colleges officials have voiced regret over the scenario, but added that they have little choice. Budgets have needed to be trimmed, and the cuts included $720,000 in BOCES tuition. The more than likely motive for these cutbacks is the fact that Lengthy Island voters have rejected spending plans twice.

It appears that if the voters who reside within the areas which assist Long Island Colleges do not change their minds, a whole bunch of vocational students attending one of the many Long Island Faculties will lose out on the training they so deserve. Perhaps, when they see their fast food eating places and low cost stores flooded with young highschool graduates, they?ll change their minds. I hope so.

Olympics kick off but flag error sparks protest

London's Olympics got off to an embarrassing start Wednesday when North Korea's women footballers refused to play after a mix-up over their national flag, in one of a series of blunders.

Hosts Great Britain had kicked off the sports festival, years in the making and costing billions of dollars, with a 1-0 win over New Zealand as women's soccer got under way two days before the opening the ceremony.

The United States beat France 4-2 and Japan overcame Canada 2-1. But North Korea's opener against Colombia was held up after their players were pictured next to South Korea's flag on the big screen at Glasgow's Hampden Park.

The North Koreans were finally persuaded to take the field and the match, scheduled for 7:45 pm (1845 GMT), finally began at 8:50 pm. Red-faced organisers were quick to apologise for the howler.

"Today ahead of the women's football match at Hampden Park, the South Korean flag was shown on a big screen video package instead of the North Korean flag," said a statement from London 2012 organisers.

"Clearly that is a mistake, we will apologise to the team and the National Olympic Committee and steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again."

The incident -- involving two countries still officially at war -- ensured a nightmare debut for the 19-day Games, where the hosts' capabilities are on show as thousands of athletes compete for 302 gold medals until August 12.

And it was not the only problem on Wednesday. Elsewhere, Team GB sent out an email referring to the Great Britain women's football team as "England".

And organisers had to offer a refund to diving fans whose view will be partially obscured due to a defect in the purpose-built, wave-shaped Aquatics Centre.

Separately, Greek triple-jumper Voula Papachristou was kicked out of the Olympics for a racist tweet which poked fun at Africans living in her country.

And athletics' world governing body said 10 athletes had been barred for doping, including Morocco's women's 1500m runner Mariem Alaoui Selsouli who failed a test earlier this month.

Anti-drugs officials said the London Olympics would be most stringently patrolled Games yet, boosted by a sophisticated new test for human growth hormone.

"It's a very significant step and it's a very helpful one," said World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Director General David Howman.

"Every step is significant if it ends up catching someone who has been cheating with impunity."

At the Games, Usain Bolt is hoping for a second successive sprint treble, Michael Phelps needs just three more swimming medals to become history's most decorated Olympian, and Roger Federer leads a galaxy of tennis stars.

China, who topped the medals table at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, arrived at the athletes village as thousands of competitors, coaches, officials and media poured through London's Heathrow Airport and headed to Olympic Park.

"All athletes and teams are in good spirits and are performing their training every day as scheduled," said China's deputy chef de mission Xiao Tian.

"They're very eager to compete with athletes from other countries and delegations."

Meanwhile, "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle was set to lead a team of 10,000 participants in the full dress rehearsal for Friday's hotly anticipated opening ceremony.

While details of the show -- which has much to live up to after Beijing 2008's lavish opener -- are a closely guarded secret, it is expected to feature cows and sheep along with Sir Paul McCartney and David Beckham.

Not sure where I should be.

Hun, abuse is never right. If this is part of a pattern for her and you have dealt with this in the past how can you be sure you are her only victim? As hard as it might be you need to think about you and your children's safety.

Here is some information pertaining to domestic abuse against men:

Domestic violence against men: Know the signs

Domestic violence against men isn't always easy to identify, but it can be a serious threat. Know how to recognize if you're being abused ? and how to get help.
By Mayo Clinic staff
Women aren't the only victims of domestic violence. Understand the signs of domestic violence against men, and know how to get help.

Recognize domestic violence against men

Domestic violence ? also known as domestic abuse, battering or intimate partner violence ? occurs between people in an intimate relationship. Domestic violence against men can take many forms, including emotional, sexual and physical abuse and threats of abuse. It can happen in heterosexual or same sex relationships.

It might not be easy to recognize domestic violence against men. Early in the relationship, your partner might seem attentive, generous and protective in ways that later turn out to be controlling and frightening. Initially, the abuse might appear as isolated incidents. Your partner might apologize and promise not to abuse you again.

In other relationships, domestic violence against men might include both partners slapping or shoving each other when they get angry ? and neither partner seeing himself or herself as being abused or controlled. This type of violence, however, can still devastate a relationship, causing both physical and emotional damage.

You might be experiencing domestic violence if your partner:
Calls you names, insults you or puts you down
Prevents you from going to work or school
Stops you from seeing family members or friends
Tries to control how you spend money, where you go or what you wear
Acts jealous or possessive or constantly accuses you of being unfaithful
Gets angry when drinking alcohol or using drugs
Threatens you with violence or a weapon
Hits, kicks, shoves, slaps, chokes or otherwise hurts you, your children or your pets
Assaults you while you're sleeping, you've been drinking or you're not paying attention to make up for a difference in strength
Forces you to have sex or engage in sexual acts against your will
Blames you for his or her violent behavior or tells you that you deserve it
Portrays the violence as mutual and consensual

If you're gay, bisexual or transgender, you might also be experiencing domestic violence if you're in a relationship with someone who:
Threatens to tell friends, family, colleagues or community members your sexual orientation or gender identity
Tells you that authorities won't help a gay, bisexual or transgender person
Tells you that leaving the relationship means you're admitting that gay, bisexual or transgender relationships are deviant
Justifies abuse by telling you that you're not "really" gay, bisexual or transgender
Says that men are naturally violent

Children and abuse

Domestic violence affects children, even if they're just witnesses. If you have children, remember that exposure to domestic violence puts them at risk of developmental problems, psychiatric disorders, problems at school, aggressive behavior and low self-esteem. You might worry that seeking help could further endanger you and your children, or that it might break up your family. Fathers might fear that abusive partners will try to take their children away from them. However, getting help is the best way to protect your children ? and yourself.

Break the cycle

If you're in an abusive situation, you might recognize this pattern:
Your abuser threatens violence.
Your abuser strikes you.
Your abuser apologizes, promises to change and offers gifts.
The cycle repeats itself.

Typically the violence becomes more frequent and severe over time.

Domestic violence can leave you depressed and anxious. You might be more likely to abuse alcohol or drugs or engage in unprotected sex. Domestic violence can even trigger suicide attempts. Because men are traditionally thought to be physically stronger than women, you might be less likely to talk about or report incidents of domestic violence in your heterosexual relationship due to embarrassment or fear of ridicule. You might also worry that the significance of the abuse will be minimized because you're a man. Similarly, a man being abused by another man might be reluctant to talk about the problem because of how it reflects on his masculinity or because it exposes his sexual orientation. Additionally, if you seek help, you might confront a shortage of resources for male victims of domestic violence. Health care providers and other contacts might not think to ask if your injuries were caused by domestic violence, making it harder to open up about abuse. You might also fear that if you talk to someone about the abuse, you'll be accused of wrongdoing yourself. Remember, though, if you're being abused, you aren't to blame ? and help is available.

Start by telling someone about the abuse, whether it's a friend, relative, health care provider or other close contact. At first, you might find it hard to talk about the abuse. However, you'll also likely feel relief and receive much-needed support.

Create a safety plan

Leaving an abuser can be dangerous. Consider taking these precautions:
Call a domestic violence hotline for advice. Make the call at a safe time ? when the abuser isn't around ? or from a friend's house or other safe location.
Pack an emergency bag that includes items you'll need when you leave, such as extra clothes and keys. Leave the bag in a safe place. Keep important personal papers, money and prescription medications handy so that you can take them with you on short notice.
Know exactly where you'll go and how you'll get there.

Protect your communication and location

An abuser can use technology to monitor your telephone and online communication and to track your physical location. If you're concerned for your safety, seek help. To maintain your privacy:
Use phones cautiously. Your abuser might intercept calls and listen to your conversations. He or she might use caller ID, check your cellphone or search your phone billing records to see your complete call and texting history.
Use your home computer cautiously. Your abuser might use spyware to monitor your emails and the websites you visit. Consider using a computer at work, at the library or at a friend's house to seek help.
Remove GPS devices from your vehicle. Your abuser might use a GPS device to pinpoint your location.
Frequently change your email password. Choose a password that would be impossible for your abuser to guess.
Clear your viewing history. Follow your browser's instructions to clear any record of websites or graphics you've viewed.

Where to seek help

In an emergency, call 911 ? or your local emergency number or law enforcement agency. The following resources also can help:
Someone you trust. Turn to a friend, relative, neighbor, co-worker or religious or spiritual adviser for support.
National Domestic Violence Hotline: 800-799-SAFE or 800-799-7233. The hotline provides crisis intervention and referrals to resources.
Your health care provider. Doctors and nurses will treat injuries and can refer you to other local resources.
A counseling or mental health center. Counseling and support groups for people in abusive relationships are available in most communities.
A local court. Your district court can help you obtain a restraining order that legally mandates the abuser to stay away from you or face arrest. Local advocates may be available to help guide you through the process.

Domestic violence against men can have devastating effects. Although you may not be able to stop your partner's abusive behavior, you can seek help. Remember, no one deserves to be abused.
(mayoclinic.com)

Do get the help you need, you and your kids deserve better.

Blessings-
CK

Namesco Ecommerce Shopping Platform Helps Growing Business ...

Worcester, UK (PRWEB UK) 9 May 2012

Worcester based online specialists Names.co.uk have been working with small and medium sized businesses for over 15 years to help them get online and make the most of the digital revolution. Sally Tomkotowicz, Customer Acquisition Marketing Manager said, Weve had some fantastic feedback from some of our customers and recently heard an inspirational success story from one particular guy and I wanted to share his success to prove that it is still possible to get a new business off the ground, even in these hard hit times.

Paris Nolan, who owns Demon Eyez is a names.co.uk customer who manages his online shop using a DIY Ecommerce tool ? selling fun coloured and themed contact lenses ? and his success story provides inspiration for any new online start up.

Paris has been with Namesco a relatively short time and already runs numerous online shops from his home in Portsmouth. Instead of engaging a traditional website design function, Paris opted for an easy to use Ecommerce package and decided to build the basic shop himself using the drag and drop website builder.

Demon Eyez operates in the UK and American market and within three weeks of setting up the shop he was receiving over 100 orders a day! Commenting on his recent success, Paris Nolan said: We came to Names.co.uk because of the price and the whole package it had everything we wanted, for example, the emails, easy design, handling the customers all in one place and its all set up for payment integrations.

I found Ecommerce very simple to use, there are instructions, help guides and you have technical support there too if you get stuck. It took us about 3 weeks to design the website and within 3 weeks after putting the website live we started taking orders

An advocate for the names.co.uk Ecommerce product, Paris said he finds it user-friendly and has all the features he needs to run a successful online shop: I really like the setup, where it has the order manager, and when you are sending orders, it automates emails to customers with one click handling, rather than having to send them out individually to each customer. Plus its really easy to design and upload instantly its perfect.

It doesnt stop there Paris and his wife Sam have more tricks up their sleeve and are taking on some other new and exciting ventures with Ecommerce:

We have got two shops live at the moment, another thats almost ready to go up and another three or four ideas to add with Namesco. Plus we are bringing our diamante shop to Namesco as well.

I have had a lot of success with Ecommerce and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Commenting on this success story, Sally Tomkotowicz, Customer Acquisition Marketing Manager, Names.co.uk said; Weve worked with thousands of businesses to get them online both effectively and quickly, and we are delighted that Paris can focus on his core proposition and customers without getting bogged down in the details of the technology. Tools like our Ecommerce product have evolved so much in recent years that getting set up online has never been easier. With setup costs so low, were seeing more small businesses focus on their online operation during the recession because they are more likely to boost sales.

The shifting dance of love, relationships & desire ? Take This Waltz ...

It?s been a while since I?ve been to the movies, so when I found myself with some free time on Sunday, I veered away from summer action hero blockbusters, drawn to something more quiet, intimate and moving. And that was Sarah Polley?s film Take This Waltz.

Beautifully written (Polley wrote and directed), shot and acted, Take This Waltz is an up close and personal look at the shifts of love, relationships and desire. Margot (Michelle Williams) meets Daniel (Luke Kirby) during a work-related trip and the connection is immediate. But Margot is married to Lou (Seth Rogen). Turns out, Daniel lives across the street. Margot and Lou have a close, playful relationship and Margot loves him and his family, in particular her sister-in-law Geraldine and her niece Tony. But Margot is feeling like there?s something missing. And Margot and Daniel can?t stop thinking about each other.

What struck me first about this film was the quality of the light and colour:? golden light and gorgeous primaries and secondaries, both in the set and costumes, as well as a lovely retro feel ? the old century home apartments, the vintage dresses, the Scrambler amusement park ride in a disco setting. But above all, the view we get is extremely intimate, from the close-ups where we see emotions play to conversations (one in a women?s shower room) to scenes of desire expressed (with words and with bodies).

Polley has a lovely cast: Williams? Margot is vulnerable, searching and sensuous, Rogen gives a sweet, playful and hesitant feel to Lou, while Kirby?s Daniel is dreamy, puck-ish and sexy, and Silverman?s Geraldine is tough on the outside, but extremely fragile with a great irreverent sense of humour. And Lost Girl and Republic of Doyle fans will recognize Graham Abbey, who plays Geraldine?s lovely, supportive husband James.

Thematically, Take This Waltz made me think about the nature of relationships ? and how no matter how much you may love someone and what to grow old with them, relationships are organic ? and therefore changing ? things. At what point does the nature of a relationship outside of marriage become cheating? The age-old question of what makes for love and desire ? and how one tells them apart ? is turned over and around. And, as Geraldine says: ?Life has a gap in it? it just does. You don?t go crazy trying to fill it.? Of course, the question then becomes where is the gap located? In the relationship, in our loved one or in ourselves?

Here?s the trailer. Go see this.
