I hate the holiday. Anyone else?

This is the time of the year when being single really sucks. I have been going to my brother's house for Thanksgiving & Christmas for the past 5 years. It's just my brother, his wife, my niece and I. I love them dearly but it's freaking boring.

I don't want to do it again this year. Thinking I'll stay home alone and shut off all the lights so the neighbor's won't think I'm home.

My best holiday would be with a group of people cooking and drinking together and watching the football game, and going outside to pay football. I have a tiny studio and not too many friends so that will not happen. :(

I hate the holidays. What about you?
