SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) - Steven Lenhart scored two goals, including the tying score in second-half stoppage time as the San Jose Earthquakes rallied for a 3-3 draw with FC Dallas on Saturday night.

Lenhart headed home a ball flicked on by Alan Gordon, from a cross by Justin Morrow, five minutes into stoppage time to keep San Jose's unbeaten streak at Buck Shaw Stadium intact. The Earthquakes have gone 11-0-6 at their primary venue since Aug. 13, 2011.

Alan Gordon also scored for San Jose (18-6-7), which inched to three points ahead of Sporting Kansas City in the Supporters' Shield standings.

Blas Perez scored in the 37th and 72nd minutes for FC Dallas (9-12-10), and Matt Hedges added one in the 88th minute. Dallas lost an opportunity to tie Vancouver for the fifth and final Western Conference playoff spot, remaining two points back with three matches remaining.

Gordon put San Jose up 1-0 in 24th minute and, after Dallas went ahead, Lenhart tied it in the 82nd.

San Jose has 12 game-winning or tying goals in the 82nd minute or later this season. It was the Earthquakes' league-record ninth goal in second-half stoppage time this year.

Hedges appeared to give Dallas the much-needed victory when he slotted home into an empty net after a desperate goalmouth clearance from San Jose defender Victor Bernardez fell to him at 4 yards.

Lenhart's first goal also came courtesy of Gordon, who laid off a square pass at the top of Dallas' box. Lenhart ran onto the ball and beat Dallas goalkeeper Kevin Hartman with a left-footed shot.

Perez cut between San Jose's central defenders to head home a go-ahead goal in the 72nd minute, knocking in David Ferreira's pass.

San Jose is unbeaten in six consecutive MLS matches, and also in six straight against FC Dallas, dating back to June 2010.
